What is RSS?

"RSS" means "Really Simple Syndication." But that's just a fancy way of saying that you can keep up with all the updates to Costa Rica Vacations without having to check the site every week to see "What's New." Whenever I put up a new page or update an old one, I release it through RSS. And...

I can automatically share new things about Costa Rica with you from time to time through RSS. This gives you our "secret/best/newest Costa Rica" scoop without you having to spend hours on the site.

Use the orange RSS/XML button on the left side of my site (they're everywhere on the best websites nowadays) to get the latest Web pages from Costa Rica Vacations, as well as the latest news from CNN, the latest movies, blog posts, and lots of other great info about anything that interests you.

It's like having your favorite parts of the Web come to you. No need to go out and check for updates all the time. No need for bookmarks!

Yes, RSS is amazing. If you can't tell, I'm completely addicted to it. No e-mail. No spam. It's so easy to subscribe and unsubscribe. If you get tired of me SOB, you just have to delete the feed. It's awesome!

And once you start, you'll soon be tracking all your other favorite interests and news in the world. FREE!!!

How do you get started? Easy!

Simple. Yahoo! and MSN and Google have one-step solutions. Just click on one of the buttons to your left (you'll see these on every page on costarica-discover-it.com).

OR (if you don't want to use Yahoo!, MSN, or Google) download free RSS Reader first. This is special software that reads the "RSS feeds" from the largest news organizations right down to little old me...

Windows -- RssReaderhttp://www.rssreader.com/

Mac -- NetNewsWirehttp://www.newsgator.com/Individuals/NetNewsWire/

Once you're set up, here's all you have to do...

Right-click (control-click for Mac users) on any page of this site). Then...

Select Copy Shortcut ("Copy Link to Clipboard" for Mac), and paste that URL into your RSS Reader.

And that's it! You're subscribed.

I told you it would be easy.

And now you're not only connected to the world but the world will come to you--automatically!
