NATIONAL PARKS OF COSTA RICA: GUANACASTE
Welcome to Vol. 4 National Parks of Costa Rica.In this section, we'll visit the parks in the Guanacaste region of the country.
Guanacaste Province is along the northwest Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It's home to the famous "Gold Coast," mile-after-mile of spectacular beaches famous for their beauty, surfing, and fishing. It's also one of the most popular area for both tourists and expats who've moved to Costa Rica. Guanacaste is known for its hot, dry climate (particularly during the months of January-April). From its snow-white beaches to dry-mountain-forests leading to rain forests, its national parks offer a number of fun activities for families and adventurers alike.
Rincon de la Vieja National Park

You're looking at the twin volcano domes, Rincon de la Vieja and Santa Maria, about 20 miles from Liberia. There's an international airport---Daniel Oduber aka Liberia International---nearby and the volcanoes can be seen upon arrival or departure. Santa Rosa National Park, Santa Rosa Sector
