COSTA RICA HOSTELS: MANUEL ANTONIOThere are some great, and inexpensive, Costa Rica hostels around Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the favorite places for many who take Costa Rica vacations.
And, if you've always wanted to sleep in your own jet airplane suite, there's one of those there, too, in nearby Quepos at the Costa Verde Resort. Yep, virtually on the edge of Manuel Antonio is a real 1965 Boeing 727 airplane, brought piece by piece from San Jose and now a place where you can join the 10,000 foot club almost on the beach! But back to the hostels (much cheaper than the Boeing). Some are basic, others more like nice cheap Costa Rica hotels, all great ways to save money on Costa Rica vacations. Rates and availability often vary by season. High season (higher rates and less availability) is typically from mid-November to end of April. And, Christmas and Easter weeks are the most crowded weeks for all Costa Rica hostels.
