In Tortuguero National Park, you'll find no roads. Directions: By Bus: Take a bus from San Jose to Cariari (Caribeņos Bus Stop) at Barrio Turnon. Buses leave every day 9am for Cariari. In Cariari take the bus to La Pavona Port or the Geest Port at 12.00 pm. Take a boat to Tortuguero. By Car: Take the Braulio Carrillo highway to Guapiles, leave the highway in Guapiles and turn left to Cariari. After Cariari look for the Pavona Port were you will find a car park where you can leave your car and take the boat to Tortuguero. By Plane: Planes go to Tortuguero every day from San Jose, Costa Rica. At 6am from Pavas Airport. (Tobias Bolaņos Airport) It is a 25 min flight.
